    Make sure you go!

Make sure you go to this restaurant hungry! The clam chowder here is a must. The po'boy sandwiches are the best I've ever had. I like mine open-face. Waitresses are friendly, professional and make you feel right at home. The decor reminds me of my grandmother's dining room.

    ELEGANCE IS THE STANDARD

Today was my first visit to this Louisana Creole Restaurant with true Southern hospitality and cuisine. The food was excellent and the excellent service was performed with pride and pleasure. A quality site and quality clientele added to the pleasure of this class A Restaurant. I will return and bring my family and friends to enjoy this experience.

    Harold and Belle's

I haven't been here since I left L.A., but the few times I went to this restaurant were the best. The gumbo is to die for, their seafood, divine. I miss it so much. I remember I got so sick with a cold, strep throat, the whole works and I couldn't eat for a couple of days. As soon as I was able to swallow again, I called Harold and Belle's and ordered their gumbo, had to have it. Ended up ordering take out food for my kids and dessert. Believe me, when I get back to L.A., I'm definitely visiting the restaurant and have a good meal. It's been 10 years since I've been back and that's long enough to go without. Excellent restaurant!

has great food and since I am NO it is really close to it. The po-boys are great and the fish, however, like many black restaurants the service needs work. You wait forever and when you ask for anything they act too busy or you asking for too much but, still want a big tip.
