LOVE THIS PLACE - THANKS FOR THE RECOMENDATION!
Was coming into LA for a couple of days and saw this posting on your website. I had heard about this place on one of those shows, E! or something so decided to check it out - it definitely lived up to the hype. Great staff (gorgeous waitresses!!) really really good food, HUGE martini's and cool high energy crowd. all of that and absolutely no attitude (which we concerned about with all we have heard about Hollywood) they were welcoming, greeted us coming and going ... we will absolutely recommend this place to friends coming into town and highly recommend it to your readers. see you at Lola's !!

Lola's is simply the best!
Lola's on Fairfax is a beautiful martini bar, they actually created the "Apple Martini". I've always had a great time at Lola's. They also host private events, if you're looking to throw a party it's perfect!
Lola's tried to pull a switcharoo!
We saw ads for Lola's Mother's day special on various sites including their own http://www.lolasla.com/mdmenu.htm, that in a nutshell said "Bring your mom for a fixed menu and we'll pick up the tab. Everyone else pays $22." When we got there (2 families) we were told only 1 mom gets the dinner for free and everyone else has to pay $26 for the prixe fixed menu After I complained to the manager, she agreed to honor the $22, and then proceeded to charge us for the 1 mom that was suppose to be free. We had to again complain in order for them to remove the charge. The dinner wasn't worth the price, the long wait and the aggravation. It appears Lola's participated in false advertising to pull in customers. Pretty tacky thing to do in this tight economy. Will NEVER go back and recommend you don't either.
