EXCELLENT LA DINING EXPERIENCE!  

In June 2007, my sister and I made dinner reservations several days in advance before our first trip to LA. Upon arrival at Mastro's, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly at our reserved time in the main area of the dining room. Our waitress (and other table servers) were very attentive and treated us with respect. We were very impressed with the service and the food was excellent!!! Possibily, some of the BEST FOOD that I have ever had.

My favorite food is steak, so I guess I am sort of an "expert" in that area. The filet was FANTASTIC!!! The only problem that we figured out too late was that they gave my "rare" steak to my sister and her "medium" steak to me. Usually I won't touch a medium steak, too done for me, and she won't touch a rare steak. But the meat was just so superb that somehow it didn't matter so much. We had some sort of gnocchi dish that was SO incredible, highly recommended!!!!

We laughed and just had the best time in Mastro's. It was such a delightful experience, we left very happily filled and will definately go back if we ever return to LA!! NOTE: Very dark in there, the waitress even asked if we needed a flashlight to read the menu, we laughed, but I think we should have taken her up on that, it was hard to see!

beeing at Mastro`s Steakhouse was a very fun for me and my wife. This was our first time there and it could`nt have been better. Soon we both well be back!

Mastro's know for great food and service
