Cafe Sevilla Brings Southern Spain to the Locals

Paella

Café Sevilla delivers the warmth and culture of southern Spain to Downtown Long Beach with its casually elegant atmosphere and authentic cuisine.

Owners Rogelio and Janet Huidobro started the Sevilla family in San Diego in 1987, and slowly expanded to include Riverside and Long Beach. Café Sevilla has worked hard to maintain Old World traditions and ambiance in each restaurant, hanging vintage bull fight posters, displaying wrought-iron ornaments, and featuring rich wood accents.

Café Sevilla offers traditional Spanish fare like pitchers of sangria, a wide selection of tapas, and large paella platters, which make this an excellent location for small groups. The restaurant hosts happy hour every weekday until 6:30pm. Specials include discounts on all food when you order pitchers of sangria, signature cocktails, and wines by the glass. Pairing tapas like the blue cheese stuffed dates wrapped in bacon with one of the many rich red wines from Spain is an all too easy choice when visiting Café Sevilla.

Theatrical Flamenco dinner shows are offered weekly and lively guitarists play Gypsy Rhumba and Latin music each night in the tapas bar. The atmosphere is lively, without losing the relaxing intimacy that allows you to converse with friends and loved ones.

The restaurant also stays open until 1:00am on Friday and Saturday nights making it a great place to grab a meal before going out or to stop by for a night cap. Café Sevilla opens at 4:30pm most of the week allowing you to be transported on a Spanish culinary adventure.
